Treatment with tablets after diagnosis
In every passage where it says “got” one can also read “took”, since those who take tablets do this often themselves. After all, the insurance does not cover tablets anyway and quality and price are often better when commercially procured than via general practitioner or pharmacist.
One could have expected immediate treatment after diagnosis to exist for patients prescribed tablets. But here too some people had to wait (long). 33% did not get tablets immediately and 16% even had to wait for longer than 6 months. This again causes an unnecessary risk of permanent symptoms.
