Can you specify what symptoms and to what extent you still suffer from them after one year of treatment?
25.7 % still suffer from serious to very serious fatigue and 34% from moderate fatigue.
14 % still have a lot of nerve and/or muscular pain and weakness, 14% has moderate nerve pain/burning feeling and 22% moderate muscle pain/weakness
Other severe symptoms still remaining:
concentration problems 10% memory problems 10% word finding problems 8% and intestinal problems 10%

The following conditions were also mentioned fairly often:
Graves’ disease, depression, rheumatism, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, MS, heart rhythm disorders, heart attack, Crohn’s disease, Meniere’s disease, Lyme disease, AD(H)D, thrombosis.
One should therefore be alert to a vitamin B12 deficiency in these conditions.
What was your age at the discovery of the deficiency?
Of course the results from the survey are not a good reflection of the different age categories, as relatively more young(er) people completed this survey.
It does show, however, that 114 patients were under the age of 19 at the discovery of their vitamin B12 deficiency and in total 458 patients were under the age of 30.
